If not i can have a look at mine ...
Every knob can be assigned to a MIDI continuous controller , the mod 
wheel and the touch pad too . The later has 2 controllers (pressure and 
position) .
These controllers can be for internal use (filter cutoff frequency , LFO 
speed ...) or external : if the number is not used by the AN1X it can be 
useful to change something on an expander plugged to the synth . All the 
knobs movements are transmitted by MIDI : of course both instruments 
must be set on the same MIDI channel !
When you push on a knob when the "assign" LED is lit you can see which 
parameter and controller number are assigned to this knob .
With the mod wheel you can "morph" the sound between 2 programs called 
"scenes" . For example i have a kind of jazz organ on scene 1 with the 
classic 2 2/3 percussion and a more "rock" one with the leslie 
simulation and no percussion on scene 2 . With the mod wheel i can 
change between 2 different sounds or have a mix of both "scenes" : 2 
keyboards in one !! It works when both "scenes" on and a different patch 
on each one .
