in the files section of this group site is .wav files of the factory
preset patches for the poly800
by playing these back from your PC using a lead to the tape in on your
korg, you will be able to restore the factory patches
the switch setting for hi-lo is for different volume settings ie line
level vs headphone level. I used max volume on my pc input to the k0rg
switching to tape and load as discussed in the .pdf manual also stored
in this site archive, you can try different volume levels until you get
a result.
it may take some fiddling to get it right
unfortunately my korg tone generator chip is fubar, so all i have is a
midi keyboard, even tho patch loading, and editing all works..
