Subject: RE: Hawk troubleshooting

I checked all pins by manual, and all pins shorts like in manual. Also when I turn on ex800 psu make noise, so I suggest it not totally dead. Maybe something wrong with screen?
How I can make further checks?
Is the motherboard multilayered, and there are copper tracks inside? Desoldering was a pain, and maybe I damaged tracks that inside the board.
If i put original IC22 and IC29 in sockets, it should work as original, right? (little problem, I broke one leg of EPROM)

Yes, almost any multimeter will be OK for testing.

Hello,
I installed kit, and it doesnt` power on. So now I am troubleshooting it with "troubleshoot manual". Is it ok to use ring function on multimetr to inspect shorts between pins? Because I have only values from 200  to 2000K ohms on multimetr, not 1 ohm.
