The brighter LED displays should be AOK with the HAWK. But, the HAWK does add a few tens of milliamps to the power supply load. And I don't know what the LED displays draw but it might be worth looking into it as a precaution.

yea, i figured that this would be the only place that would know where to get em.  one more quick question too, im swapping out the LEDs on my korg for the blue set you can get on ebay.  would this hinder the hawk 800 upgrade in any way?  im assuming not, but details can always be over looked.

does anyone in group currently use their poly 800 in a music project they could link?  i'd love to hear what others are doing with this synth.

I had a mark II in the 90's that i loved n it got stolen. A few years later i found a reverse keys in a customers basement. He didnt use it anymore so i got it for 100- :)
As far as colors go, mine is more of a dark brown than black. Red or blue would be cool. All black or all white keys would be even cooler.
There are a lot of pics on the web of poly's with painted cases....
