Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Voices missing in "whole"-mode when waveform "square" is selected

The saw and square waveforms are created by resistor bridge units - BR5, BR6, BR7 and BR8.

BR7 and BR88 are for voices 1 to 4, square and saw.

BR5 and BR6 are for voices 5 to 8, square and saw.

BR4 is also required for all of the above.

The output from the bridges is buffered  by IC4 and IC5 (both are NJM3404 op amps).

Subject: [korgpolyex] Voices missing in "whole"-mode when waveform "square" is selected

Hello again :)

After successfully having solves the "strage-display-problem" by replacing IC33 my Poly now shows a further problem:

When DCO waveform "square" is selected in "whole"-mode, several keys refuse to produce any sound. Actually this isn“t quite right because the noise of th filter can be heard and hardly audible the sound of the selected preset. When switching to DCO waveform "sawtooth", everything works finde.

Has anyone of you experienced a similar problem and could give a hint?

Regards

Moe
