Hi Dave,
at the moment, there's no real need to revise the board because we haven't run out of space in the existing EEPROM's for the software that I have developed so far. If I ever get to develop a decent arpeggiator for the Poly then that situation may change.
But if you were to order the rev 1.3 board, the new feature planned for rev 1.4 will still be able to be installed onto the rev 1.3 board with a bit of modding. A mod of the mod so to speak.
So if I were you, I wouldn't wait around for rev 1.4. Especially since I may never develop or release the 1.4 board anyway. It's a matter of priorities and time and interest from the Poly 800 community. Interest which seems to be thinning out.
Mike

Hi Mike,I read something about a Rev 1.4 board, is this it?dave----- Original Message -----From: korgpolyex800Sent: Monday, January 05, 2009 2:28 PMSubject: [korgpolyex] How many potential customers out there?Hi Poly fans,
I am completely out of the HAWK-800 and AtomaHawk boards.
That means I need to order some more to keep some on hand.
Marcus is patiently waiting for his two AtomaHawk kits. So I know I
have to order at least two of those.
But I would like to hear from anyone out there who might be reasonably
certain that they will be buying either the HAWK-800 or the AtomaHawk
(or both :-) ) kits.
Please let me know as soon as you can.
And many thanks to you all. Just selling twenty HAWK-800 kits and 12
AtomaHawk kits has been very rewarding.
Mike.
