Hi Freq Spec,
I uploaded a zipped .rtf file that has the FM-800 mod schematic and
some detailed pics that Atom had on his site. Thanks to Atom for this
and I hope you don't mind my using the content from your site...

As for the VCF input jack does anyone have good info for this? I know
where the connections are but it would be much better to have a
detailed guide. The last thing anyone needs is to mess up this great
sounding synth. Please remember we are not responsible if anything
goes awry. Be very careful soldering and double check all connections
before powering up your Poly.
