Subject: Re: where to find parts to replace Q1 and Q18? bringing dead polys back to life!

From: "Jon" <shonokij@...>

It went up in smoke.

I changed Q1 and Q18. Checked the pin-out - and I'm sure i got it right. (Otherwise Q1
and Q18 would have been hot - and they weren't).

Anyway - what happened when I plugged in the power was that KD4 (the small
transformer in the -5V area) went up in smoke.

And that's kinda odd..?

So now I'm thinking of building a new powersupply for it. Since getting a new part for KD4
(I think it's called T1 on the board, but I'm not sure) will be kinda hard..?
Any other suggestions?

Cheers!
