Subject: And another update...

Thanks to you all for providing such great support.
Today, I added a feature to my EX800 that widens its playing ability
to six octaves instead of just four.
In order to support the wider playing range the module has to ignore
the octave parameter settings for both DCO's. So with the widened
feature turned on, the octave setting for both DCO's is assumed to be
low (1). Otherwise, if the octave settings are set to MID or HIGH then
the DCO's go haywire at the high end of the keyboard scale.
I plan to use a controller message to turn the feature on and off.
But the question is: Would you all prefer to use a sysex command or a
controller message to turn this feature on and off? (Note that I'll
add a parameter setting for it later).
Mike.
