I have never gotten my EML101 (older, pre-Sequencer input jack) to respond to either V/Oct nor Hz/Oct. My understanding is it is V/Oct but it is 1.2 volts per octave which, if you don't think about it too long, makes sense. The Synhouse MIDI Jack is suppose to be scaled for exponential VCOs from below 1V/Oct (Micro Moog) to at least 1.2V/Oct.

Supposedly my Encore Expressionist is able to change how it tracks to account for higher or lower voltages but I've never seemed to figure out the right combination of settings that make a difference. If someone has figured out how to make the Expressionist play nice with the 101 I would be happy to hear from them. Otherwise it's the one synth in my arsenal that I have to actually play its keyboard. And that's not pretty.
