I have been told that the records no longer exist.

Maybe. Though in looking at pictures of this Matrix Pump, I truly wonder if
it was built at the EML factory or if it was rather something which someone
with access to EML parts whipped up on their own. If I remember (the pics
arent available now for some reason), the lettering kind of curved around?
It did NOT look like something a serious company like EML could be
responsible for as it simply looked goofy. :) Plus, I wonder why it was
unfinished. Could it possibly be a hoax? Does it really look like it was
completed in the 70s? You could probably tell by looking at the components
inside it. Dont get me wrong, EML DID make custom machines for people, but
I am not so sure about this one. If I can, I will ask someone who should
know and let you know what I find.

There is one in the Vintage Synth book.

I don't

Me neither, but if there were only 300-400 of the EML200's made and the 300
and 301 were optional controllers, one would assume there are far fewer of
them around. My guess was around 100 300's, but there could even be fewer.

I even wonder how accurate

coin toss? - heads says 1000 101's, tails says 2000? ;)
