Nice detective work, Bob. And you are right, it was in Michigan. I have a friend who was going to go look at it who lives nearby. The seller was a flaming asshole though. I know at least once he had a friend place a "winning" bid so that he could try to establish it's value. He also listed it on the Detroit Craig's list trying to get $3,000.00 for it after he couldn't sell it on eBay. As I recall, the first time it was listed on eBay he was asking $10,000.00 for it as a "buy it now," price. Then, when it didn't get a bid, he relisted it with a BIN of $4,500.00 I think. That was the auction when the "friend" bought it. The seller then listed it a third time and claimed that the buyer in the second auction (friend) backed out of the sale. It was all bullshit, but he really did own the machine. I do know that the person who bought it lived in or around Detroit.
I sent the guy a few emails offering to buy it (cheap). He was not very nice.
