What he is trying to do is recover from aMAJOR fuck-up. He thinks the song is ending and forgot about the repeat of the chorus. He plays the string lead out and realizes that he screwed up and tries torecover. He makes another screw-up at the very end.

So, I was wondering if you 'Tron erudite know what Pinder istrying to do 4:03 minutes into this song...
The video clearly shows him starting to play a nice 'tronriff, then after a bit of strings...nothing happens - and he reaches for thecontrols on the left side of the console and makes some adjustment ...and thenfinishes the song nicely.
On this model...(MKII? ) I thought all the stuff on theleft was that rhythm and fill stuff...not lead instrument channel selectors....or did he have to hit the on/off switch?

Well, this video is kinda foggy, and it'sB&W...but it least it is a Mellotron (a MkII?) - instead of a Hammond B-3.
And it sounds pretty good cranked up.
