Subject: Re: [Mellotronists] A Question of ...switches?...no FAKE 'Tron here.

So, I was wondering if you 'Tron erudite know what Pinder is trying to do 4:03 minutes into this song...

The video clearly shows him starting to play a nice 'tron riff, then after a bit of strings...nothing happens - and he reaches for the controls on the left side of the console and makes some adjustment ...and then finishes the song nicely.

On this model...(MKII?) I thought all the stuff on the left was that rhythm and fill stuff...not lead instrument channel selectors ....or did he have to hit the on/off switch?

Well, this video is kinda foggy, and it's B&W...but it least it is a Mellotron (a MkII?) - instead of a Hammond B-3.
And it sounds pretty good cranked up.
