Subject: Moodies on the Dime.....

From: Bruce Harvie <tonewoods@...>

Hi all....

For those folks who are unable to log on to Dime-a-dozen to grab the Moody
Blues in Japan recording from January 22, 1974, try these links to hear the
samples:

http://www.dimeadozen.org/attachments/104039/1210878/SampleTues.mp3

http://www.dimeadozen.org/attachments/104039/1210882/SampleHave.mp3

The samples sound pretty good for an audience tape, and Pinder-era Moodies
live stuff is pretty rare I guess...
(Do board tapes of that era circulate??)

Keep trying to get a spot on Dime-a-dozen. Sooner or later (usually within
the day), you'll be able to join and download their wonderful catalog of
live shows...
I've picked up some miraculous stuff on that site....

I can burn copies sometime next week of the MBs in Japan for those unable or
unwilling to go through the Dime ordeal....
(I'll be off-line for 3-4 days, so be a bit patient....)

Bruce
