There´s some great mellotron playing in R.E.M.´s UP.
The flute scale at the end of Daysleeper ranks second in my demoing setlist when I play my M400 for my friends.
In the song "Lotus", I swear I can hear some trumpet but I never heard mellotron trumpet anywhere else. Only the classic Trompets/Trombones of Bungallow Bill and Flying fame. Is it a mellotron or a sample? Doesn´t sound like a real trumpet. Also, check that great Wurlitzer and drums sound!
