I'm the proud owner of a Chamberlin M-1 #86109. I'm looking at
the receipts for it right now. I ordered it on 3-2-73 and recieved
it on 3-12-74. During the summer of 1974, Harry Chamberlin and
his wife were on a midwest trip and stopped at my house. Harry
showed me how to take care of any adjustments to the M-1.
It has always remained in Michigan except for one gig in Ohio
in 1979. There was one other Chamberlin in the area in 1973-74.
It was at the studio of the Michigan band SRC. I stopped by
to take a look at it while waiting for mine to arrive. Today
the mighty M-1 #86109 rests on a table ready to be refurbished
as it hasn't been played in a number of years.

survey, especially if everyone that has one actually responds. I'll
