Hi Jon,

I have M300 no. 005 built in 1968,refurbished by Streetly in 1999 I think. It has a mix of sounds from all modelsand I love it. Next best thing to a MkII.

I also have M400 no. 992 in white. ExStrawbs tron lovingly refurbished by yours truly.

Anybody ever asked if everyone on the list who is fortunate enough tohave a Mellotron (or Chamberlin) would tell the list sothat we can see how many and what makes and models of instrumentsare accounted for by this group?  I'd think it would be aninteresting survey, especially if everyone that has one actually responds. I'll start:

Jon

I own M400 #1145 (built late '73,apparently), and my mate Gary who isn't on the list owns a late-ish M400,no.unknown, and a black Novatron which seems to be a bit of a Heinz, with frameand cabinet sporting different nos.in the 1600-range. I think John Henry's hireco.(N.London) own three - John and Martin will know. I don't know if the otherowners I know are list lurkers or not.
