Lee, I mentioned that one a couple of days ago. Prob. got lost in the
melee around mid-week. Charles also made a good point about the
use ( or lack ) of Chamberlins for 50's sci-fi "B" movie soundtracks.

In retrospect, now that I view some of those lesser films with today's
perspective, they REALLY were cheesy ! The majority of explosion
and devastation was stock military footage of early A or H-bomb tests
(Houses exploding into matchsticks, pine forests denuded, jeeps
tipped over, etc.) . Just add in a cliche title, some rubber costumes
and props, some Theremin and signal-generators, there 'ya go !

.......Coming soon to a popcorn/gum infested cinema near you:
"Killer Trons from Planet Bodger " or
"The Day The Motors Stood Still" or " Eight Second Countdown"
or my favorite " The Man with the X-Ray Sampler "

OK, I'm going back to the basement to avoid the deadly Cathode Ray Gun .

Cheers, -JK- (Still loves Angelique Pettyjohn from orig. Star-Trek series)
