Subject: Re: [Mellotronists] who is DK?

Another good point. Emails to Dave often DO take a
while to be answered sometimes. The guy travels 8
months out of the year. I DO know that any mail to
mellotron.com about restorations, new machines and
parts are forwarded directly to Markus in Stockholm.
Sometimes things fall through the cracks.

As for OEM parts, we should inquire about it. The
Buchla guys were all singing the blues about the lack
of Rogan blue knobs for Buchla 200 restorations and
Kean went to Rogan and paid for a run of 1000 of them.
He's STILL sitting on 600. That's a lot of knobs to
have laying about. Of course, Dave needed knobs too,
so that might have made the difference, but he might
be willing to do something about our parts woes. As
for the switch caps, for a long time, he was just
giving them away, but I have no clue how many are
left. It might be a good idea to ask soon if you need
one! Same with knobs. I once saw three boxes of
them...at least 100 various bulgin knobs. Markus? Any
idea about this?
