PERFECT
ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!

So, although none of you guys showed up tonight, the rehearsal/audition went
incredibly well, and the band was particularly impressed by my arrangement
of "Nights in White Satin" and my recreation of the Mellotron sound on my
little Korg. It's funny, isn't it? You go through tons of equipment just
to get back to the wellspring from which it all came. Anyhow, I'm going to
be joining a terrific band, and these folks get gigs that are good enough to
be able to have a reason to go to the effort to bring #886 out to play for
the really special performances. After all of these years, it is going to
be truly triumphant to step out on stage with a real Mellotron, and I know
that you can all relate to that sensation.
