Subject: Gentle Giant live

I don't recall seeing a Tron when I saw them either. I owned one then (still do), but the lack of it sure didn't hamper the beauty of the show, in my humble opinion. Wish I could remember the year, but do remember a silver sign with "Giant" on it being lowered during the set. That went over quite well!

So what happened after the first Gentle Giant album?  I wonder, did Kerry Minnear just decide the M300 was "too much trouble" or was there some other "modern" new keyboard that came along at the time and replaced it in his vast setup?
Dear All,

With a band that can play that many instruments (including violins and cellos) it would seem they used 'tron where it made sense. Imagine 3 Friends with M300.

When I saw them live however no 'tron...

PS: For some good concert footage of GG try "Giant on the box" (DVD), footage of various television stuff from Germany, USA, Italy and weird bit from Szcene74.
No 'tron again - Clav, Wurly, Hammond and MiniMoog - hardly vast...
