Some facts:
1996 - Steve Hackett contacts JB and MS regarding Genesis Revisted project.
JB and MS go to Steve's studio with a MKII, battling a flight of steps, narrow doors and sharp right angle! And the same again when leaving.
Steve records every note from MKII and amplifier blows up.
The MKII recordings were engineered and susequently looped for Julian Colbeck by David Spiers who was present throughout the session.
JB and MS charge Steve a
minimal amount for the day to London and back as we like the sound of the project and the recordings are exclusively for him.
Steve records his guitar sound for Streetly.
GMedia releases Mtron and the initial sounds are MKII in the main.
