I just had a look at this one and it is pretty rough. Aside from being filthy, the cabinet is banged up a bit and the bottom lips that hold the front and rear inspection panels in place seem to be missing.
When I saw the photo showing the Pinder signature on the underside of the cabinet lid, I realized that I had seen that lid before. I recall a while back someone had posted a photo or two of themselves at a Pinder album or book signing having the lid of their Tron autographed. I think this is the same one. Unlikely that Pinder ever saw any more of this Tron then the lid.
My Mellotron, however has been signed by the following, some of whom have actually played it. It has also been played by many who failed to sign it.

Some of you are wondering, "How the hell did he do that?" Well, it's pretty easy. I go to a lot of book signings and public gatherings. I always take the lid of my Mellotron with me. You just ever know. I once took the lid to the US Open years ago to try and get John McEnroe to sign it. Unfortunately, I only ended up with ∗Tatum O'Neil. Buy hey, it's better than nothing. It was a bitch getting it to Zaire though.
The craziest part was trying to explain to most people what it was. I got a lot of weird stares.
