the mellotron archives/pinder disc is the best i have ever heard.

it's an AKAI format CDROM. [see:

using the program "cdxtract" [see:
http://www.cdxtract.com/ ] you can
translate the samples into other formats for use with other
samplers/software. it has a great variety.
