Wow - quite a few 'bizarre coincidence' stories! All v.cool, and probably all weirder than mine! I have a slightly lesser (though more embarrassing) one to add:
I was flicking through 'Classic Rock' mag a month or so back, when an ad caught my eye for a NWOBHM (look it up) compilation, with a pic of three young guys going hell for leather on the ol' air guitars on the cover. To cut a long story short, it gradually dawned on me that the one in the middle was my good self, circa 1980. I identified the other two (one of whom I still know) - our faces are hidden behind curtains of hair, which it turns out (as suspected) is why it was used. I eventually rang the record co., who very nicely sent me a few complimentary copies, and told me where they got the pic from. The picture library similarly sent me a free 8x10", proving that there are some decent people in the world. And no, I don't remember it being taken. :-)
