Iagree. I have had no trouble with MA tapes when the rollers were in propershape. Markus has nice replacement rollers that I retrofit to my Tron andthey are great. They are slightly larger in diameter that the originalrollers and have quite a nice "bite" to them. I think they are about fivebucks each, but you must fit them into your old key springs. If you don'twant to d this yourself, you can send your key springs to Markus and hewill install them for you, or you can send them to me and I will. -- FrankRoller diameter isn't as critical as width and its consistency.
Greetings Gang,Roller replacement or refinishing is an all-important issue w. each
restoration project . DK once sold orig. complete pinch-roller
assembles for $10 each, before supplies ran low.
Too hard , you'll scuff tapes. Too soft, could cause playability issues.Nice of you to offer your services Frank, w. a tinyadvert for MR .
I'm sure folks will keep that in mind.....Cheers, JK (....buys Land Rover parts from Land Rover )
