I, myself, have an Echoplex named Justine, my
multitrack machine goes by Lucinda, a 1920's wax
cylinder recorder that's often referred to as Richard
(or Dick as in Dictaphone) and a 50's Harmony acoustic
that came with the name Poonch scrawled clumsily in
sharpy on the back. Humanization is an odd thing.
