Thanks for the various replies a week or so back re.my Mini's tuning glitch - food for thought on various fronts. Andy K is sort of right when the says the Mini's as much an icon as an instrument, but I can't afford a Voyager as well, and have NO intention of selling #6609! Norm's comment re.a potentially dodgy transistor is worth looking into - it could probably do with an overhaul, anyway. I'd never actually thought it might be a fixable problem, but it's worth looking into! And Frank's comment re.'Trons is especially relevant - if one, why not the other? And anything else of a certain vintage you may have lying around? I took four vintage 'boards out on our recent mini-tour, and by-and-large had no real problems.
