Yep, the 'Tuesday Afternoon' sounds are most definitely Tenor Sax and
MkII 3-violins together, sometimes playing in unison (as in the
intro), and other times playing their own parts separately as in the
verses. Having recently installed new tapes on my machine with Tenor
Sax on one track, I played a snippet of that intro (quelle surprise!)
in the same key/same octave and it was unmistakeable.
Regarding the "dee-dee-dee-deedle-dee-dee-dee, dee-dee-dee-deedle-dee-
dee-daa" part in 'Legend Of A Mind', on listening to it again I
suspect it might be either MkII smooth Organ or Italian Accordian,
though I'm slightly more inclined to think that it's the latter.
