Well, Jon, I think it's trumpet. Check out this page
<http://mellotron.com/soundframe.htm> from Kean's site. Listen to the
trumpet sound and see what you think.

The stock Mark II may not have had a solo trumpet lead sound, but Pinder
could certainly have done it.

You may be right about Tuesday Afternoon, although there may have been
some blending going on. The Mark II often gives sounds a distinctive
attack that makes lots of different sounds sound similar. It may be that
effect that that you're hearing too.
