Well, judging from the numerous posts today regarding Frank, I'm beginning to wonder. He seemed like the nicest guy to me when I met him.  He had a real passion to own a tron and achieved that goal -- and not without a LOT of work and cost.  He wrote a book and had it published, which is more than I can say for most folks out there.

Frank was fairly specific about some of the things that were said to him in his note.  So far, I haven't seen anything in the return "arguments" of a specific nature -- everybody just seems to loath the guy.  I must admit, I tend to ignore a lot of the annoying arguments on this (and any) list.  I would think (and hope) that the tron crowd would try to support anyone willing to maintain or repair such a wonderful instrument -- I would hope that is what this list is all about -- whether or not you like the person should be secondary.

It seemed to me that Frank was stuck, had presumably done some things to piss someone off at Streetly, tried to make amends and got nowhere.  He tried his only avenue to solicit help and got more sh∗t from the one group that should be here to support someone trying to get a machine in excellent running condition.  Shame on the folks in this list for caring so little about a mellotron.  I just don't get it.  It's not like you can go to Radio Shack and order spare parts.  What the hell is going on?

My 2ยข, and probably worth about that much to the list members.
