To Mark and all,

First of all I don't hate anyone in particular, Mark included, although there may be a fat bastard somewhere I can't stand but that's for another day.

So let's get a few things said and I'll be off for a nice cuppa tea.

Vance asked about grinding pinchrollers and Mark got all silly about the futility of it.  He's wrong.  If I have to explain why then we're in drongo land and I'll feed him a warm banana.

Markus rarely comments
because he's busy building machines and parts that he
sells to everyone BUT this list.

We comment quite regularly with hints, tips and general info.  We are also busy.  Very busy.  Busy enough to support three guys full time each week of every year without having to translate, wash dishes or play cabaret in the evenings.  Not a bad achievement when we don't own the mellotron name or have DK's head start.  We do have an order book that stretches into 2006 so we're doing something right and the US is still a major market for us. To sum up, you can always find time to contribute.

many of whom are on this list but won't vocally support him(Markus)
when the slag starts flying from the other side.

We have no problems with Markus and applaud his work.  I don't remember slagging him.  We wouldn't necessarily implement everything as he has done but that is only to be expected.  We are individual businesses with our own solutions and with John's mellotronic education in the orignal factory, I'll stick with his judgements based on good engineering and electrical practice.  He also favours grinding pinchrollers Mark.

Appallng? I'll tell you what's appalling; that both
Streetly and Mellotron Archives aren't getting rich
from their efforts.

Never really expected to. Les and his brothers didn't so why should anything change?  I do like walking across the lawn to the workshop though and that means a rich, comfortable life but without the wealth.

Did I mention grinding pinchrollers or grinding boredom from dullards with trite comments and little intellect.

I don't hate you Mark, just wish you'd lighten up, make a joke, get irony, enjoy the bizarre and ridiculous rather than drag us all down with drab mail.

Did I mention grinding pinchrollers?
