Subject: sounds and stuff

Dear Martin, JB and all,
I think Streetly knows my particular stance on the current topic but I will risk redundancy by elaborating.
My particular interest in the tron is having the best of the traditional sounds, which I still need some more of, and more importantly, new sounds. I have been teasing you with new violins for a while now, so I should just send them out. Things are nuts up to Easter, then I'll have some time. I have gotten a commitment from one of the finest woodwind players in NYC (trust me) to record a chamber woodwind sound for the tron. This will happen before summer's end. I have toyed with the idea of recording other sounds, but I have not settled on the project to follow , but there are plans being made.
Of course I would love to purchase more sounds right now, but unfortunately my studio has other pressing needs, those of a less sexy nature than a new rack of sounds. A new rack is akin to a new tron. I would like my next rack to be 2/3 new sounds, so my focus is definately on the future.
The tron's imperfections are it's allure and I think innovation will come from using the tape replay concept for future products. There are already "new" tape echo machines on the market geared toward demanding musicians and producers. Metasonix manufactures tube(valve) synthesizers and audio processors. I've got ideas!
