Subject: synths

As a lifelong programmer who takes great delight in pulling every bit
of sound out of my collection of toys, I'd just like to point out
that ALL synthesizers sound at least ten times better than the
factory programs. If you aren't adept at programming, take some time
to learn some basic things. If you don't you are literally missing
90% of what your instrument is really capable of. My little X5Ds
that I buy like Kleenex on eBay for about $300 each and that look
like toys are actually eight individually programmable two oscillator
sample playback synths with tons of routing and modulation
capabilities, advanced envelopes, velocity sensitivity, and twin
dynamic stereo effects processors strapped in for flavor. How can
you NOT get a lot of sound out of that?
