Hi max,
There are small screws screwed into the top of the keys right at
the back that are for correcting any tilt in the angle of the key when
viewed from the front. Only useful for small degrees of warp though.
In what way are they warped and how much? Are they curved along
their length or twisted?

Greetings JKB and everyone,

If the flat-headkey twist adj. screws are turned too much,
they will changethe angle of pinch roller arm relative to
the capstan.

Given the lesserof two evils, I personally permit the keys
to rest wherethey may . On all my Trons, I turn them all
anti-clockwise. BTW, the orig. MK-I units had no screw
adj. for key-twist,not even drilled holes for future installation.

I've seen keystwisted along their length (most common),
and curved .The latter can be cured by carefully sanding
the sides ofthe offending key until clearance is achieved.
My M300 had 4-5keys which were gently abrading their
neighbours duringplaying.  This was straightaway rectified
before MONEYPIT-2004a fortnight ago.

Hope this helps,gang.
