I'm just being a smartarse - Banks did play it on a Hammond/'Tron violins combination once he got the M400, largely because the strings and brass were allegedly out of tune with each other. Surely not?

So what exactly was played on the "accordion" side is an interesting point as a  sustained F-sharp is not possible due to the highly controversial, and some would say, unconstitutional 8-second rule.  It sounds like some sneaky altering of an F-sharp and an octave below or above (depending on where you start)

Sounds to me like low, high, etc. Although... I thought there was only half-a-keyboard's-worth of the sound on there? Looking at my machine, I've just realised that F# is the only note that's only there twice, and he can't have retuned it... Can he?
