The outstanding silkscreening on the control panel was created locally(Mr.
Dickson, right?), and I believe it to be an interpretive work of Wakeman's
battle with alcohol and and the damage it had to his brain cells---leading,
of course, to damage to several M400s.

GreetingsKL and Gang,

Reminded me ofkids writing signs on barn walls
in the old "OurGang" comedies of the 20s-40-s.

Art is an amazingthing. Take some scrap-metal,
weld together, and suddenly it's in the Guggenheim Mus.
Like those oldCadillacs planted vertically in the ground
somewhere inthe desert.

How  'boutit ? We can gather our knackered Tron parts
as  "Art-Nouveau." A few boot-heel and hammer knocks
for added-touch.....

Negative.  One M400 motor.  I asked the same question, butapparently those
little motors have enough torque to handle both capstans.

...kl...
M400 #805 - reminded of Dickson's "air artwork"
M400 #1037 - [torque to you later]

The new motorsoffered by Streetly enable one to
lean on bothkeyboards of a MK-II or similar , w/o
a drop in pitch. However, the result cacaphony of
sound does bringone to relieve oneself !

Cheers, JK

(Waiting to hearnew tunes from Mike's musical bum,
  er , music album......)
