Hi!

I have used the Korg 05R/r (moduleversion of X5) to do the same thing,

complete with random on thepitch. However I have never thought about

using the other scales. Butit sounds like a really good idea. Just

one thing; the scales are aglobal property, so a change of the scale

will affect all programs andcombis, right? Not too convenient if you

also use other sounds thatthose deliberately tuned weird as I do.

Apart from my X5otrons, Ialso have a pretty cool Rhodes sound – incl.

tremolo and slightdistortion - a CP80 electric grand, a symphonizer,

and many others like thesethat I use a lot. Even a Cantebury fuzz organ!

Then, I use an ancient Win95laptop to control my patches, and maybe

this is enough to changescaling flexibly enough.

Would you like to exchangepatches? I would love to hear your stab at

tron sounds on the mighty KorgX5.

Cheers
