Oh, Froese's "Malaysian Pale"?

Not specifically. I just went for "Generic Tangerine Dream Sounding Dross"
and did it somewhat worse than they did. They may have liked E minor, but
I like G minor and C minor, so I guess you can say I did take it in an
entirely new artistic direction.

Unfortunately "Malaysian Pale" is no longer in print, unless Froese decides
(decided?) to put it back out there again (I haven't checked). Yes, mostly
'tron, really incredible stuff for 'tron lovers. It's 'tron ear candy.

Tangerine Dream as of late has been releasing boots (taking the ones
available on the TD boot tree on the 'net and pressing them). I just got
the 2nd set. Mellotron is always mentioned in the liner notes and is
always present in these older recordings. However most of the boots I got
from other sources are better than what's been presented so far, at least
compared to the 1st boot set they put out. I haven't listed to the 2nd
boot set yet, but I have a long drive this afternoon/evening, so I'm sure I
will get to some of it. The 2nd set is '76 and later, so it should be a
bit more to my liking.

TD don't get on people about trading boots, which is good. But they're
also cashing in a bit, which I don't consider to be a bad thing,
either--fair is fair.
