Geeez...I sold my tron a few years back and still seem to havethe
fever.

Charles, I thinkyou hit the nail on the head !

Mellotron-Feveris quite infectious too.  It begins
with goose-bumpson both arms at early age upon
hearing "thatsound." And continues well into
middle-age. ....andpossibly beyond......

Further complicationsare attempts to  own one of
each model, ownevery sound in the tape library,
and listeningto the favorite tunes over 1000X .
Also frequentmutterings about who played what/when.

.....Sound familiar, gang??  There is no known
cure for Mellotron-Fever,thankfully!

I myself caught"canal-fever" in late 2001, commencing
to explore/hikeold towpath canals in the Northeast USA.

It developed inmuch the same way as Mellotron-Fever.
Collecting memorabilia, reading books on canals, seeking-out
experts , thentaking oneself back to 1850 , muttering
old canaller'ssongs whilst getting full of briars/brambles.
