"Lawrence Welk violinists?????????"  This is an apparently new detail.  Any more information about that, and the provenance of the information?
 
(It would be wonderful to have a shot of the three Lawrence Welk violinists recording in Harry Chamberlin's bedroom, wouldn't it?)
