I saw Yes yesterday night in Bonn/Germany. With Rick Wakeman at the
keyboards, they played mostly the classic tunes. They were in great form - a
fun concert.

I was somewhat disappointed though that Wakeman didn't use Mellotron sounds.
I wouldn't have expected to see a real Tron on stage but at least he could
have used a sampler to play the original sounds. Instead he used synthesized
sounds that were close, but only close, to Tron sounds. To me, the Mellotron
strings are an integral part of the magic of the classic Yes material. Rick
Wakeman doesn't seem to feel the same way. Oh well.

Now I'm looking forward to see the Musical Box who'll come to Germany in
October.
