Record one track in mono (L=R).
Delay one channel approx 1/50 of a second.
Go easy on the reverb.....(somewhat less than the usual load)
(use longer delay time for a more obvious effect)
I've used longer delay times for stereo studio monitoring with great
results.

   This method will get you a stereo effect, but there is negative side effect. The undelayed signal will be percieved as louder than the delayed signal because it gets to your ears first. Someone explained this to me in tech terms once, so I apologize for the very simple explanation, but it is true.  This method works pretty well though for tracks that don't require such tight performances
    Another method to make your tron stereo without the use of time based effects is to rerecord your tron through an amp and pan the resulting two channels hard left and right. Another method involves knowing what you played and recording a duplicate track with the pitch raised or lowered a slight amount, and I do mean slight. If you have a DAW, then you should have a slew of plugins that will help you out as well.
   My favorite method is to double a 3violins track with m300 strings. VERY LUSH.
