Subject: Fw: [Mellotronists] eBay Mellotron

You know, wanting a Mellotron may not be the most effective way of
demonstrating your stability...

Know the old saying about a yacht being "a hole in the water that you pour
money into?" I can see I'm going to be spending a pretty penny on 886 in
the next couple years. MY kinda crazy! I suspect that when somebody is
talking about a Mellotron and says "it's too expensive," the little cartoon
thought bubble over their head is actually saying "I can't come up with that
much money right now, or I can, but I'd be divorced or foreclosed on soon!"

Anyhow, keep your eBay preferences set for Mellotron searches - they seem to
show up about every two months on the average, some in better shape than
others, and scattered all over the world. Don't bid until the last minute,
open multiple browser windows to the bidding page with increasing amounts
set up on each one, and keep hammering the bid button every time somebody
passes you.

(How do you ship these things, anyway?)
