Unconfirmed, I have a demo CD of Paul Weller's latest, to come out
here in the States on the Yep-Roc label next month. I hear it's been
out in the UK for quite some time now. (of Jam, Style Council fame),
but plenty of string, flute and choir standard and straight ahead
(untreated) M-400 on tracks 5 thru 8. What a thick, muddy record--his
vocals and not-exactly-singalong lyrics just warble and carry on like
he had some gawdawful hangover, y'know, like Joe Cocker coming 'round
again after one of his years' long binges. A couple of Oasis members
are guests on it also, so maybe their chocolate 'Tron is what you
hear...?
