Well, well some people are rather confused regarding recent history.

FACT: this incident was not over a year ago.
FACT: the refund check was not received until approx. may or june of 2001.
(i CAN get the exact date of the refund check if you insist on this.)
FACT: the details that you are reluctant to document are irrelevant in that:
FACT: lies were told.
FACT: you do not deny that these lies were told.
i must now wonder if we are even discussing the same machine at this point?
you freely admit that others had their deliveries delayed.

<off-topic waste of everyone's time>
i won't even comment on your attempt at twisting
this into a political discussion.
well... okay i changed my mind:
1) note the obvious, blatant and shameless "suck up" to the list moderator.
("to say the least")
2) there IS more than one definition of the word,
and MOST of them leave out the political rhetoric.
3) oh, and i particularly like your careless and authoritative
use of the word "always" above.
so you ARE and will ALWAYS be the authority on fascism?
please note how much time and effort has gone into the above rant,
yet no actual denial of the deceit that took place has been made.

so dk is not on the list.
so because "the accused" declines to be present for some reason:
he is immune from any and all criticism?
yet, he is allowed only to be praised here?
yeah... fine...
we'll leave it at that, as long as you get in the last word, right.

...and markus: please be more careful about replying.
you previously sent the above message to my private mailbox only.
i do not want or welcome your personal messages.
i'm sure that it was an innocent mistake, but please do not repeat it.
thank you.
don, i am sure you knew that i had no intent of calling you racist.
i merely took exception to your threat to ban streetly from the list,
and the reason why you threatened to do so.
if you did feel that was my intent, then i am truly sorry.
perhaps it WAS careless of me to use a word that CAN have further meaning.
anyone that knows or has met me could attest to the fact that i would
never imply such a thing, especially to someone that i do not know.
i DO still stand by all that i have said.
...sigh... i am tiring of all this very very quickly....
life is too short to "pick nits" about interpretations of completely
unrelated topics and dictionary preference. enough already...
