Hey thanks for detecting the sound on The Prisoner! I'm amazed the
action the way it is played on the Mk.2 is so responsive--like a
Hammond B-3, each depressed key triggers so quickly...and nearly two
minutes' worth of real tickling. I bet the player in rehearsal had
some aching knuckles after a while. I'll go back and check those
soundclips out.
It appears the Laser's Edge CD version must be the same as the
Repertoire version--both with the three extra tracks. IMHO, the extra
tracks weren't that thrilling. I accidently ordered the Arkana LP
version reissue--a two disc set with those same three extra tracks,
if in case any of you out there want a sealed copy of it. The tri-
gate cover appears to be thicker than the original September 1971 RCA
Neon NE6 copy, but I'm not going to take the shrink wrap off of it.
There's a sticker that says Virgin Vinyl Pressing-180 gm-Heavy
Quality Sleeves. Well, you know Arkana; they don't skimp on stuff
like this! I'll send it anywhere in the world postpaid and insured
for thirty dollars. I don't care if you live in Antarctica, it'll be
the same offer. Or, you can have the Laser's Edge CD for $20 (opened,
mint condition) and I'll keep the Arkana...same deal. Just e-mail
