Subject: Shameless Self Mellotron Promotion: New Invisible Rays CD

Hi All-

My band, The Invisible Rays hasreleased a new CD, "Salute the American Popular Song". We used LOTS ofkeyboards on the record, Baldwin Electric Harpsichord, Minimoogs,Optigans, Farfisas, Hammonds, and so on; but more to the point, we usedmy Mellotron M400 which I restored with the gracious help of JerryKorb, as well as the Q Division Mellotron MkII, once owned by MikePinder, and beautifully restored by the Mellotron Professor himself,the same Jerry Korb! Both also feature new tape sets from Streetly.

TheCD should be available online in the next week or so at CD Baby, aswell as iTunes, but in the meantime we are making videos for all of thesongs, and we are posting them to our YouTube Channel. There arecurrently 4 videos. Chamber of Dreams and Combinations both make heavyuse of the M400 and its creepy tuniness. Stay tuned for the MkII.
