Subject: Re: [Mellotronists] strange Phillips keyboards

Hi All!

The Philips Philicorda was (or rather they WERE, because there were several
models...) merely rather duff slightly ecclesiastical sounding transportable
electronic organs designed primarily for use in chapels and small churches.
Most were finished in pale wood cabinets with hearing-aid-beige plastic . If
anyone is interested, I can lay my hands (not in a particularly holy way) on
about 10 of the buggers, all for sale at pocket money prices. Who knows,
they may become trendy. After all, the EDP Wasp was shite in 1980, and
despite having no following when new and still being shite now, seems to
have become collectable. Stylophones too.

CfN!!
